Priceless Items: Packaging in Phoenix
How do you make sure that the packaging Phoenix is done to insure that your priceless item arrives safely? You live in Phoenix. You need to mail granny’s priceless vase to Michigan. Should be a no brainer, right? Wrong.
First, you'll need to find a box that will be the correct size for the vase. You don’t want it too big, so that the vase floats around and you have to find tons of filler material to barrack the vase. You can’t have it so small that the box doesn’t close properly.
After you figure out the size, you need to make sure that the box is sturdy enough. It would be horrible for the recipient to open up a box full of glass shards! You do not want the box to be crushed by another package that might be thrown on top of it during the transport.
You've found the perfect box. How do you make sure that the vase will be safe during transportation? With so many options out there, how do you know what kind of packaging material to you use?
We have all used the more economic approach of old newspaper, hoping that it will offer enough cushion and protection during the cross-country journey. In the meantime, we get the black ink all over our hands AND the precious cargo it was protecting. Newspaper just won’t do for this situation. How do you know when to pick peanuts vs. bubble wrap?
Do you base it on whether the recipient prefers the sweet rush of popping the bubbles between their fingers, or trying to throw all of the peanuts that are so static charged that the garbage bag somehow repels them.
With so much that could go wrong, it would probably be better to leave your packaging in Phoenix needs to the professionals!
