Ultimate Wealth - Wisdom is the Principal Thing
The teaching here is for us not to forget the divine laws of God for a purposeful living as revealed to us in both the Old and New Testaments of the Holy scriptures (Bible). The secret for success is laid bare here. We are encouraged, individually, to actively meditate on scriptures and diligently apply our hearts to keep his commandments and follow kingdom principles. Never let loyalty and kindness get away from you! Wear them like a necklace; write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will gain a good reputation. Prov 3:3,4 (NLT).
Meditate on the Bible, so you might find favor and understanding in my sight and in the sight of men. This is the master key to ultimate wisdom. Accept Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Saviour. Trust in God with all your heart and not in your own understanding - the wisdom of man, which is limited in impact and efficacy. Acknowledge God in all your ways, seek Him in all your transactions, in every plan you may be contemplating - invite Him into your affairs, into your business, into your marriage, into the careers, into your job situation - and He shall direct your paths through wisdom and give you a long and satisfying life.
Be not wise in you own eyes. The wisdom of this world shall fail ? Instead, depart from evil, stop sinning, fear the Lord - the almighty God, the creator of heavens and the earth. The one who is and who is to come, the ever present one, the ever sufficient one. our provider, our present help in times of need. Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn your back on evil, stop sinning and enjoy renewed health and vitality.
Apply wisdom to your studies, career and business in the area of your finances. Honour the Lord with your substance, with your time, love offerings and tithe - first fruits of all thine increases. As you pay attention to follow his teachings on kingdom investments, so shall you activate his promises of divine increase and abundance. Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything your land produces, then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with the finest wine.
Finally, don't ignore it when the LORD disciplines you, and don't be discouraged when he corrects you. For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. Prov 3:11,12 (NLT). Remember, that this present day financial crises is for your increase. (Dr Albert Odulele - Glory House London). Herald it, preach it, teach it, shout it from the roof tops to help prepare, encourage, empower and edify my people. My ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not yours, sayeth the Lord. As you remain faithful to obeying my words, and continue to put your faith in me and your part of the covenant of wealth - so shall prosperity and abundance follow you all the days of your life.
Wisdom prophetics:
Thus sayeth the Lord, as you humble yourself under my shelter and divine covering, and diligently meditate your mind and heart on my eternal words, so shall i reveal myself, strong and mighty on your behalf. As you apply your hearts to scripture, my spirit will come and sup with you. You shall be filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship Ex 31:3 (KJV). Your days shall be long. You shall enjoy long life, health, prosperity and abundant success. Divine peace shall be yours. It shall come to pass in those days. You shall not be put to shame. I shall watch over my word to perform (Amen).

Wealth and the Will of God $21.2 Wealth and the Will of God looks at some of the spiritual resources of the Christian tradition that can aid serious reflection on wealth and giving. Beginning with Aristotle -- who is crucial for understanding later Christian thought -- the book discusses Aquinas, Ignatius, Luther, Calvin, and Jonathan Edwards. Though the ideas vary greatly, the chapters are organized to facilitate comparisons among these thinkers on issues of ultimate purposes or aspirations of human life; on the penultimate purposes of love, charity, friendship, and care; on the resources available to human beings in this life; and finally on ways to connect and implement in practice our identified resources with our ultimate ends. |

The Good of Affluence: Seeking God in a Culture of Wealth $25 "wealth incompatible with true Christianity? In The Good of Affluence John R. Schneider reopens the debate over the proper Christian attitude toward money, arguing, ultimately, that Scripture does indeed provide support for the responsible possession of wealth. This is a provocative book of Christian theology, written to help people seeking God in a culture that has grown from modern capitalism. By comparing classic Christian teaching on wealth with the realities of our modern economic world, Schneider challenges the common presumption that material affluence is inherently bad. Careful interpretation of Scripture narratives -- creation, exodus, exile, and more -- also shows that abundance is the condition that God envisions for all human beings and that faithful persons of wealth are part of this plan. Schneider believes that the "wealth-as-blessing" themes of the Old Testament are not to be spiritualized and do not run contrary to New Testament teachings but provide exactly the frame of reference for the incarnate identity, life, and teaching of Jesus, who came to make real the messianic feast, both in this age and in the age to come. Through insightful engagement with the biblical text Schneider overturns some of the most cherished and unquestioned assumptions of influential Christian writers (particularly Ronald Sider) on modern capitalist affluence. Yet Schneider's message is also finely balanced with the need for responsible Christian living. He offers rich Christians biblical affirmation but also challenges them to a life shaped by an uncommon sense of stewardship and compassion. Incisive, thought provoking, and biblically grounded, The Good of Affluence is a superb resource foranyone -- students, professors, businesspeople, general readers, discussion groups -- wishing to grapple seriously with the subject of faith and wealth." |

God's Wealth: Whose Money Is It Anyway? $10.99 "This book is all about Jesus.nbsp; The words recorded in it were written about Jesus over 2000 years ago. Yet today his message of peace hope love and forgiveness still resonates with people of all races nationalities educational and economic backgrounds. Some like what he said while others disagree with what he said. But almost everyone finds him intriguing. nbsp; The story of Jesus comes to us from four different authors Matthew Mark Luke and John written over a period of nearly seventy years. The message and uniqueness of Jesus remain the same but each author tells the story from his perspective and for his purpose. Some writers wrote more; others wrote less. nbsp; But what if we could read it as one single story from beginning to end This book does just that by combining the four reports of Jesusrsquo; life into a single chronological story.nbsp;Through this book you will take a new look at Jesus his life his miracles and his teachings and be able to come to your own conclusion about him.nbsp;Produced in cooperation with the International Bible Society." |

Romantic Wealth $11.98 Upon listening to the opening notes of Lorene Drive, one gets the impression that the musicianship is very good and they might be onto something that is more than just screams and teen angst. However, vocalist Daniel Murillo nips that idea in the bud on "God Knows I Loved You Kid," which seems to change gears with the wind, slowing down before nailing a chorus that brings to mind an early Foo Fighters. From there it's screamo meets nu-metal, as if they're throwing genres at the wall and seeing what sticks. "Let It Go" is a tamer, focused affair that has some semblance of a hook and some strong guitar work from Stephen Fisher and Justin Smith before poking its head into Metallica's turf. Fans of "emo" punk acts like My Chemical Romance, Yellowcard, and the Used would enjoy this band, particularly during the slowly evolving "A Kiss Won't Make This Better" and the ensuing rocker "A Song in the Key of Sex," which is a cross between the Exies and Jimmy Eat World. The best track of the bunch is the short and extremely snappy "Lip Service," which has no fat on it whatsoever. "Change of Occupancy" also has several good points, recalling early Sum 41 minus the sneering and somewhat snide lyrics. The more desperate Lorene Drive sound, the better they are, judging by "Some Kind of Love." ~ Jason MacNeil, Rovi Performers: James Paul Wisner - Multi Instruments |

Hostility to Wealth in the Synoptic Gospels $80 The argument of this interesting monograph is that hostility to wealth exists independently of socio-economic circumstances as a fundamental religious-ethical tenet consistently expressed in the Synoptic Gospels. Part one offers a critique of the view that economic conditions determined the origin and/or extant form of the relevant texts. Part two considers the ideological background of the Synoptic teaching by tracing the development of the tradition from the earliest written sources to the New Testament era. Five stages locate expressions of hostility to wealth in logical and general chronological sequence. The tradition is shown to have developed primarily among aristocratic, established groups. Part three examines the relevant Synoptic texts. Several important passages in Mark establish the existence of the tradition of hostility to wealth and its primary significance as a way of expressing trust in God. This significance distinguishes the tradition from economic resentment and from sympathy for the economically poor. Matthew shows continuity with Mark, while Luke evinces a fuller expression of the tradition. |

The Disease of the Health & Wealth Gospels $8.95 "Does God will that the true believer in Christ be in good physical health? Is a Christian promised good financial health by virtue of his or her faith in Christ? If the Christian does not experience these blessings, must we assume that he or she is outside the will of God? Gordon Fee provides a provocative discussion and a direct challenge to all who struggle with these issues. Perhaps no other issues more directly affect the lives of professing Christians as do the issues of health and wealth and their relationship to the will of God. In Disease of the Health & Wealth Gospels, Dr. Gordon Fee looks at the treatment of these two themes as frequently found in popular Christian teaching. Based on solid exegesis of the Scriptures, looking at each theme separately, this books suggests that there may be yet a "more excellent way" in viewing these emotionally charged issues. Gordon D. Fee is Professor Emeritus of New Testament Studies at Regent College, Vancouver, British Columbia, and an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God. Considered to be one of the foremost experts in textual criticism of the New Testament of the Bible, Dr. Fee was a member of the editorial board that composed both the New International Version (NIV) and Today's New International Version (TNIV) translations of the Bible. He is also the author of numerous commentaries and books on biblical interpretation, including the popular introductory work How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth (co-authored with Douglas Stuart)." |

No God But God $5.41 *Ten years on from 9/11, much of the Muslim faith remains largely unknown and misunderstood in the West. *While there have been a number of successful books on the topic of Islamic history - from Karen Armstrong's Islam: A Brief History to Bernard Lewis's The Crises of Islam - there is surprisingly no book for a popular audience about Islam as a religion, let alone one by an author from an Islamic background. * No God But God fills that gap, addressing issues of belief: the difference between the Quran and the Bible, the meaning of the Hajj, the Muslim relationship with Jesus, the Muslim attitude towards Jews, equality between the sexes and more. * This revised and updated edition includes a wealth of new material and new chapters covering recent uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya; the changing face of Islam in Europe and North Africa; and a number of topics of heated debate (the veil controversy; Islam & women; Iraq War as a Jihadi recruiting agent etc). |
